560kg master tournament (elite) and youth tournament 560kg

In very warm weather the Mosliger tournament was accomplished. On Saturday the 600kg elite pulled. Waldkirch, Engelberg, Mosnang and Stans reached the semi-final. We delivered into the groups only one point against Engelberg. Thus we were first of the group. Engelberg against Mosnang and Waldkirch against Stans in the semifinals. We made short process and qualified and for the final. In the other one halffinally itself Engelberg could against Mosnang after long Fight interspersed. The final was much stretching. Engelberg could defeat us in the first Pull. Stans could adjust with the second Pull on 1:1. Whereupon Engelberg had won and went the place lot the other side, where we had won before. Full motivation! We had approx.  3. 7m forward, had nearly lost however we could our forces again mobilize and made ourselves nearly eight meter good! Victory!

On Sunday our women Team had also a championship tournament. Also they qualified themselves for the semi-final. Since they had to change the team over somewhat, you could unfortunately fight for no landing place. The Stanser women classified itself on good 4th conclusion rank

At most beautiful weather last Sunday the first championship tournament in the 600kg class took place. Altogether 10 crews participated. The rounds was dominated by Mosnang and Stans. Both teams stood in the semi-final. With Gonten and Engelberg was that halffinally completely. The semi-final consisted of a centre - and an east Swiss Derby. Stans and Mosnang could pull themselves in the final. Gonten triumphed in the small final against Engelberg. Mosnang could not withstand the pressure of Stans, win there Stans thus in the final 2:1 could.! Also the Stanser Women Team and our youth crew had it first championship tournament. The women occupied fourth conclusion rank and our youth the 9th place.

After a small Apèro and a fine dinner, our association president Christof Schmitter started the 37. General assembly in the restaurant Engel  with the greetings. The Traktanden were gone through briskly. On the honours in the part nine. Stefan " Guätli" Gut  to 10 years honoured. Stefan is active since `98 in the club and since 2001 in the executive committee.                      Armin " Tschämu" Burch started his career with the SZC Wilen in `88. the 1994 changed it to Stans Oberdorf. Some Swisscamp and international titles in 560kg, 640kg and 600kg with his team. Tschämu `s largest success is those bronze medal of Ireland in the indoor TOW pulling.

Also Andi Murer was honoured. His career began 1983 to `89. Then it made a break. Then Andi pulled `92 and `93 again on the rope. It was with the 640kg and 720kg. Andi was swissmasters with the 560kg class, as well as 9x640kg master and 4x720kg master! It got in each case at a EC and a WC the golden medal with the 640kg. World Games winner 640kg twice    1. Place and once 2nd place. With the 720kg class once 1st place and once 2nd place. As well as Andi was " also during the television broadcast; "Wetten Dass??! " . It was active since `86 in the committee as a bar and partytent chief and off `94 as tournament leaders in our club. Andi never lost a master tournament in Engelberg!!
